This page explains what happens to your information if you get in touch through this website or sign up for the Ripples and Waves newsletter.
Six Words Speaking Ltd is a UK company, and I'm the person who reads and manages everything described on this page. If you have any question about your data, you can reach me directly at matt@sixwords.co.uk.
If you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address, what you're looking for and anything you tell me about your event or project. If you sign up for the newsletter, I collect your name and email address.
I use the contact form details to reply to your enquiry and nothing else. I use the newsletter details to send you the Ripples and Waves newsletter whenever the framework updates, and only because you've asked me to.
Both forms are handled through Formspree, the service that delivers your submission to my inbox. Newsletter signups go to Lynsey, who manages the mailing list on my behalf. I don't sell, share or pass your details to anyone else.
I keep contact form enquiries for as long as is useful for the conversation that follows, then delete them. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove them.
You can ask me at any time what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email matt@sixwords.co.uk and I'll sort it promptly. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter whenever you like, either through the link in any email I send or by asking Lynsey directly.
When you close or use the newsletter signup bar at the bottom of the site, I store a small preference in your browser so the bar doesn't keep reappearing on future visits. This doesn't contain your name, email or any personal information, and it isn't used for tracking or shared with anyone. It simply remembers that you've already seen or dismissed it.
I'll update this page if anything about how I collect or use data changes. The version here is always the current one.
